Cynthia Cameron: I painted glass tableware for years and loved doing that. My real interest was always in learning metalsmithing and making jewelry. I finally had an opportunity few years to start taking classes in metal clay, metalsmithing,chain maille,lapidary,and beading. I have taken classes at Kirkland art institute, OCM Boces, and Snow Farm In Mass. I have also studied with Robert Borter of Brattleboro, Va. and William Todd Hollely of Syracuse, N. Y. Both men are talented goldsmith's. Many of the materials and stones I work with have healing properties and I have enjoyed researching those. I like working with a variety of metals, including silver, copper, shibuichi, titanium, and brass. I also love using materials such as gemstones, crystals, shells, feathers,fiber ,exotic wood and other found objects. My jewelry designs are unique, funky, and one of a kind. I have a wonder husband and a very happy marriage. along with a daughter and granddaughter. We have 3 dogs and there is never a dull moment in our house. I taught my granddaughter how to bead and we do show together.
